Work Experience, Project & Dissertation Opportunities

Are you a student looking for a work placement in a small yet busy Letting Agents. The type of work offered would be dependent on your experience and background.

Administration & Reception

We could offer reception and basic administrative duties, including mail duties. Any candidate will be expected to work and gain real hands on experience. Placements could be arranged for early summer and autumn. Any academic level considered and a technical mind appreciated.

Business Studies & Marketing

We could offer you the opportunity to review our marketing strategy. This will involve some research and evaluation of our current marketing practice. You could also evaluate the feasibility of the introduction of new products for our organisation. This placement would be combined work experience and a dissertation project. Any academic level considered. Placements could be arranged for early summer and autumn. The mentor will be a qualified person educated to MSc level.

Information Technology

Internet Technology/E Commerce

You could review our website and evaluate our current practice of web promotion or you could set up an online registration system for new Tenants and Landlords. This would require a good understanding of Java, HTML and Dreamweaver CS4 as a minimum standard. The placement could combine work experience and dissertation at both Degree and Masters level. The mentor will be a suitably qualified person educated to MSc level.

Database Design/Development

A number of project opportunities would exist for this type of work. There is potential for this to be linked to the Internet work if desired. The placement could combine work experience and dissertation at both Degree and Masters level. The mentor will be a suitably qualified person educated to MSc level.
